Description

This Know How article will outline the steps on how system admin can reset their password if clicking on the reset password link in the AhsayCBS web console does not work.

There is another way to reset the password, as long as the system admin has access to the local file system they can recover their account.

Solution

  1. Go to $AhsayCBS_Home\conf folder.

  2. Open the "cbs.opt" file with a text editor and append the following option at the end of the file then save.

    com.ahsay.cbs.account.SysAdminReset=true
  3. Restart the AhsayCBS service.
