Use the following steps to install AhsayOBM on Windows Server Core using the EXE online installer.
- Use a web browser to open the site provided by your backup service provider.
- Go to the download page.
- Under the AhsayOBM tab, look for the Windows section.
- Right-click on EXE online installer and copy.
- Take note of your owner ID which can be found under the Synology section.
- Go back to Windows Server Core machine and open a Windows Commands session.
- Enter powershell.
- Dowmload the AhsayOBM installer into a specific destination (ex. C:\temp). To do this, enter the applicable command using "80" or "443" port based on whether you're using HTTP or HTTPS.
- Paste the copied download link after the Invoke-WebRequest
- Press Enter to download.
- Enter the applicable command:
- Once the AhsayOBM setup wizard appears, click Next.
- Select I accept the agreement then Next.
- Select an installation directory then click Next.
- Select the program group where the software will be installed, then click Next.
- Click Install.
- Once installation has completed, you may enable Launch AhsayOBM to automatically start the AhsayOBM user interface after clicking Finish.
- Method 1: Powershell
- Enter the following commands:

- Enter the following command:
- Click Services and look for NFS Service and Ahsay Online Backup Manager Services
- Method 1: Link File
- Start AhsayOBM from the link file on the public desktop by using the following command:
- Method 2: EXE File
- Change the directory to the bin folder of the installation directory by using the cd command:
- Run the .exe files for the system tray with argument –Ui. The command will be based on whether you're using a 32-bit OS or 64-bit OS.
- Method 3: RunCB.bat
- Change the directory to the bin folder of the installation directory by using the cd command:
- Execute RunCB.bat by using the following command:
